SJSO searching for bike thief in stolen vehicle

A stolen truck appears to be involved in a St. Johns County bike theft, and deputies hope some new surveillance footage could help track down the suspect.

The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office says this white truck was stolen from Volusia County, but has been see multiple times in the area over the last week. The truck is described as a white GMC single cab pickup truck with no tinted windows and an Arizona plate with tag number AH58229. The suspect is a white man with tattoos on his arms and neck, and may also be related to another theft from the Walmart where the bike theft occurred

The bike theft happened outside of the Garden Center of a Walmart on March 19th. The victim left the bike locked in that location, but when he returned, the bike was missing. The bike is described as black with white lettering and a saddle bar rack, with a blue bottle cap cell phone holder on the goose neck.
