Jacksonville, Fl — A wide range in weather conditions and temperatures today, depending on where you live. Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh says a slow moving front will lead a variable forecast.
Temperatures and rainfall will all depend on the exact location of the front.
“Today we have the front slowly sagging southward, so a few scattered showers. In fact, quite a bit of rain over southeast Georgia. And then those scattered showers shift and develop south and southeast through the afternoon and into this evening. It does not look like rainfall amounts are great for Jacksonville and northeastern Florida, generally a quarter of an inch or less”, Buresh said.

It will turn cooler on Saturday with a morning sprinkle, but otherwise mostly cloud and temperatures in the mid-60s.
The front returns on Sunday, which will bring a few showers and temps in the upper 60s.
We’ll be very warm early next week with Monday and Tuesday high temperatures near 80 degrees, some 15 degrees above average.
