Jacksonville, Fl — We are tracking a few showers this morning that will gradually shift inland through the afternoon. Pockets of heavy downpours will be the primary threat this morning.
Action News Jax Meteorologist Corey Simma says a few gusty winds are possible with storms this afternoon well inland. Highs today will reach the lower 80s.
Showers will linger overnight with more rain on the way for Tuesday. Many local neighborhoods are in for several inches of rain this week. Some localized flooding is possible.

Showers will be scattered off-and-on Wednesday and it’ll remain windy. Temperatures will only be in the upper 70s.
Thursday and Friday look less wet overall. Skies will be partly cloudy and winds will be strongest along the coast. A few showers will be possible at times and temperatures remain below average in the low 80s.
This may end up being the ‘coolest’ week that NE Florida will see in many months.
