Jacksonville, FL — The first at a 103rd Street Walmart earlier this month is believed to have been set intentionally.
The Florida Chief Financial Officer's Division of Investigative and Forensic Services says the fire originated in the men's underwear department. They say it appears someone lit the plastic wrapping of stocked items on the sales floor. A statement from the state says there was minor fire damage and some product lost, as a result of the fire.
They’re asking anyone with information about this incident to contact the Arson Tip Hotline at 1-877-662-7766. You can submit tips anonymously, and information leading to an arrest and prosecution could be eligible for a reward.
