JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Comedians Steve Martin and Martin Short will bring their stage show, “The Best of Steve Martin & Martin Short,” to the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, Jan. 16.

The performance is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. at the Moran Theater, located at 300 Water Street in Jacksonville.

The show will feature musician Jeff Babko and the band The Steep Canyon Rangers. The comedy duo has been touring together since 2015, when they launched their initial live show, “A Very Stupid Conversation.”

Martin and Short first met on the set of the 1986 film “Three Amigos,” establishing a friendship that has spanned four decades.

According to a news release about the event, the show includes rapid-fire jokes, self-deprecating humor, roasting between the two performers, and material mocking Hollywood and celebrity culture.

Tickets will go on presale for starting Wednesday at 10 a.m. and on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m.
