Suspect sought after Arlington gas station robbed at gunpoint

Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who robbed an Arlington gas station at gunpoint.

Police responded to the Shell Gas Station on Merrill Road, near Townsend, after a man threatened the store clerk and demanded money. The suspect then ran off westbound on Merrill.

JSO says nobody was injured. A small amount of money was found nearby, but police say the suspect is still on the loose.

The only suspect description at this point is that the man was wearing a black mask, gloves, and dark clothing, and he was holding a silver handgun.
