What was originally reported as a deadly home invasion robbery, actually turns out to be a plot to murder a drug dealer.
Investigators say 32-year-old Robert Scott was invited to the home of Merienne Blake in Springfield. Enrique Pajaro as also at the Clark Street home. Scott reportedly showed up with crack cocaine and marijuana, and all three began doing drugs.
Once Scott fell asleep, Blake and Pajaro began punching him, and then bludgeoning him with a sledge hammer

Around 6am, investigators were called to the scene by Blake and Pajaro who claimed the incident was a home invasion robbery. Jacksonville Police spent much of Monday trying to piece together what happened. They later announced they arrested Blake and Pajaro for murder after they both confessed.
Blake's 3-year-old child was at home and witnessed some of the killing.
