Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating after an overnight, double shooting involving two juveniles.
According to JSO, officers working at the Jacksonville Fair heard multiple gunshots at around 12:10 am, Sunday morning, from a nearby residential area.

When officers arrived to the 1000 block of East Union Street, they found two juveniles with gunshot wounds. One victim was shot in the leg, the other in the mid-section. Police say one of the juvenile’s injuries is considered life-threatening.

At this time, police have very few details. They say the victims were walking when they were struck by gunfire from an unknown location by an unknown suspect.
JSO says there’s no evidence that this shooting is gang-related at this point.
