Prepare for two rounds of soaking rain on top of several inches we've already had the last week and a half.
WOKV's Chief Meteorologist Accuweather's Heather Zehr is tracking round one around lunch time today as a front slowly pushes southeast. Heather says the wild weather should wind down between 6 and 8pm.
Storms last evening dumped heavy rain in spots. We have video on our Facebook page of an apparent funnel cloud in Nassau County. Thanks to David Chrisitian for posting it.
A second round of heavy rain comes tomorrow. Heather says it's going to feel very similar to today. Some of us could see up to two more inches fall in isolated areas.
We'll turn dry as we head toward the weekend. See the five day forecast and live radar here.
