Thursday is when our next cold front arrives, with afternoon temps near 90 degrees, partly sunny skies and breezy conditions. Expect scattered showers and a thunderstorm late in the day.
Friday won’t be as warm, with a few morning showers and then partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will ‘only’ be in the upper 70′s. Halloween will be nice and mild with temperatures in the mid to upper 70′s, falling into the 60′s by evening.
We “fall back” at 2 a.m. on Sunday morning.
TROPICS: Tropical Storm Zeta will spread heavy rain and strong winds over the Yucatan Peninsula today. Zeta will emerge into the Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday likely as a hurricane. Another U.S. landfall is likely anywhere from Louisiana to the Florida panhandle by Wednesday PM as a low end hurricane or strong storm. FOUR named storms have already made landfall along the Louisiana coast this season (Cristobal, Laura, Marco, Delta).
