Jacksonville, Fl — Showers are streaming on-shore, targeting the Jax metro from about 4-6 am. We have also had some lightning off-shore and heard a rumble of thunder. Rain shifts inland during the morning, leaving some wet roads.
Showers will continue to stream on in midday and through this afternoon. Action News Jax Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh is still tracking a high risk for rip currents and some minor tidal flooding.
Expect a few showers Thursday and scattered rain by Friday with our threat for rain lower by the weekend. Temperatures will be in the mid-80′s each day.
