Jacksonville, FL — It’s going to be a windy and warm end of the week and weekend with afternoon temperatures in the low and mid 80’s. There may be a few isolated showers but still mostly dry, which will bring a high wildfire danger.
Action News Jax Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh is tracking an area of low pressure that is likely to become the first named storm of the Atlantic hurricane center, Arthur. The tropical or subtropical system will have no local impacts outside of enhancing gusty windy and rip current risk at area beaches.
Mike says there are hints of at least some rain by Tuesday of next week.
