Woman dies following Arlington crash; charges still pending

Jacksonville, Fl. — The Florida Highway Patrol says 37-year-old Tanya Dennis has died after she was involved in a crash on the Arlington Expressway on July 23rd.

Troopers say Dennis had the left turn light at the intersection of Regency Square Boulevard when Robert Isenhour ran through his red light and hit her. The crash caused Dennis’ car to overturn and she was ejected. The crash report says she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.

It is unclear why Isenhour did not stop at the red light. FHP says it is still looking into whether or not alcohol played a role in the crash. Charges are still pending.
