Jacksonville FL — Family and friends have now identified the woman killed at the Mission Pointe Apartments on Biscayne Boulevard Saturday night as Tasheka Young.
She was better known as “Tyskeeks” while on POWER 106. Cox Media Group which owns POWER 106.1 released the following statement Monday.
“Power 106.1 was saddened to learn about the passing of our former colleague, Tysheka Young. We want to offer our condolences to Tysheka’s loved ones.”
On Saturday night, JSO says officers responded to the apartment complex due to an unresponsive woman who was later pronounced dead at the scene. JSO says there was evidence of foul play and through the course of the investigation 33-year-old Bursey Armstrong was arrested for 2nd Degree Murder Sunday.
Armstrong was her boyfriend and father of their children.
