Four people are dead after a shooting inside a Randolph Street home in Murray Hill.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office released the identities of the victims. They are 21-year-old Keshell Brown, 22-year-old Keyonna Brown, 27-year old Gontrell Hagans, and 25-year-old Derek Williams.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to 1107 Randolph Street around 11 pm Thursday night to investiagte the shooting after calls from a neighbor.
Police say three of the victims, two men and one woman, were dead on arrival. Another woman was rushed to the hospital, but did not survive. Their identities have not been released.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office would only describe the victims as two black males and two black females.
A woman on scene tells WOKV's Matt Augustine her daughter's boyfriend lived in the home where the shooting happened and was out with her daughter at the time. She says he's been calling his brother all night and getting no answer. She and her daughter believe that the boyfriend's brother, his friend, and their two girlfriends are the four victims.
Katina Shelly lives in the neighborhood, she says it's normally a very quiet area and for something like this to happen right in her backyard is both shocking and saddening.
"I've been around here almost a year. I've never heard any commotion, I mean, it's always quiet around here."
Shelly believes the victims knew their attackers because there's been no word from police about signs of forced entry.
"Evidently whoever it was, they had to know them or whatever, know them and trust them and let them in because, you know, people just aren't going to let anyone in their house."
Investigators could not provide a description of the suspect or suspects. Police are asking anyone with information to call 630-0500 for JSO orCrime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
