The oysters were harvested from FL-3012, in Cedar Key, Florida, between Dec. 16, 2022, and Feb. 24 and distributed to restaurants and retailers across three Southern states.

To date, there have been eight cases linked to this outbreak in Florida, Georgia and Alabama.

The beds where the oysters were harvested were closed Feb. 24, per an order from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
