WARREN, Mich. — A truck driver was reportedly killed in an industrial accident at a steel plant in Warren, Michigan.
The 61-year-old man died Thursday after an accident at Super Steel Treating Company, which is located in Warren, Michigan, according to The Macomb Daily.
Warren Police Department said, according to The Macomb Daily, that officers and fire crews were sent to the plant after reports of a trucker that fell.
The trucker was reportedly not deployed by the steel company, according to The Associated Press. The man reportedly was crushed when he fell and got stuck in between a truck and a trailer.
The man was reportedly freed but police said he was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries, according to the AP.
The name of the man has not yet been released, according to the AP.
The investigation is ongoing. No further information has been released.
