Jags Owner Donates One Million for COVID-19 Crisis Response

Jaguars owner Shad Khan commits $1 million to northeast Florida’s response to the COVID-19 crisis.

He is giving Florida’s First Coast Relief Fund $400,000, $75,000 to Feeding Northeast Florida and $75,000 to The Clara White Mission to provide food and care for the city’s homeless.

In addition, the Jacksonville Public Education Fund will receive $50,000 from him so teachers and students can get the required technology to be able to complete schoolwork from home.

Khan will also donate $50,000 to the local chapter of the American Red Cross to support blood drives.

Other organizations will receive funding as well, but those decisions will be made after needs in Jacksonville are assessed farther into the crisis.
