Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said on X, formerly known as Twitter, that delays in the area were due to a flipped semi-truck that spilled fuel on the road.

FHP said in a news release that the driver of the semi-truck “was distracted and lost control” of the truck.

The semi-truck then went off the road and into the shoulder, its right side colliding with the left side of an abandoned SUV.

After that, the semi-truck hit a guard rail, drove down an embankment, and overturned, FHP said.
