Seward is believed to be driving a 2002 Hyundai sedan, black in color, 4 door, FL tag #79 55 HJ.
The CCSO says Sewards's wife, 33-year-old Lashawna Lynn Criswell-Seward, was shot by the 44-year-old Seward during a domestic argument. Criswell-Seward worked as an engineering tech for NAS Jax Public Works Department. She had been with the company since 2009.
According to the couples' neighbors, the victim and the suspect had been arguing. When the victim ran to a neighbor's home for safety she was shot by the suspect on the door stoop.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Amber Craven lives a few houses down from the crime scene and says she was surprised to hear gunshots in her neighborhood around 10:30 last night.
"I was just a little scared and, you know, this isn't something that happens in this area, so it's a little shocking."
Craven says she didn't know the people that lived at the home where the shooting happened but did say the community is tight-knit and that most everyone knows everyone else.
We've also learned the victim has a 7-year-old daughter who was not at home at the time of the shooting. Police say she is not the suspect's biological daughter. Investigators say the child is out of state on a trip with her biological father.
Investigators say the suspect remains at large.
