A St. Augustine man was charged Wednesday with custodian sexual assault on a child between the ages of 12 and 18.
Deputies said 46-year-old Michael Mitchell inappropriately touched and took photos of the girl.
According to the report, the girl was sleeping on the couch when she awoke to Mitchell attempting to remove her clothing.
The girl then told deputies that Mitchell fondled her and took pictures of her private parts, while she pretended to be sleeping.
The victim said she made movements with her body in an attempt to scare Mitchell away. She stated that Mitchell would go to his computer desk, but kept returning.
Mitchell is being held on a $25,000 bond.
