Jacksonville FL — If you are shopping online during this holiday shopping period, you might have noticed certain items need to be in your shopping cart to see the price. Consumer Warrior Clark Howard says to take the time to put that item in your cart to see if getting that item is worthwhile. Clark says not showing you the price is part of a game manufacturers play to get you not to comparison shop.
“There is a dirty game going on behind the scenes where the manufacturers are trying to eliminate discounting”. Clark says.
Clark says sometimes when you see the price it will be better than at another retailer, but you will never know unless you take the time to look.
