Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to a person shot at Ricker Road

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to a local hospital regarding a person shot.

When officers arrived, they found a man was shot multiple times in the lower body.


According to JSO, none of the gunshot wounds were life-threatening.

The investigation revealed the victim was near the intersection of Ricker Road and Old Middleburg Road North when he shot by an unknown suspect.

The victim then drove himself to the hospital.
