According to an Ascension Medical Group St. Vincent’s spokesperson nearly 13,000 drive-thru tests were administered at the site since it opened on March 17.
“Fortunately, as the community has seen lower COVID-19 positivity rates, we’ve also seen significantly fewer people requiring our drive-thru testing services. Given this, our drive-thru testing sites will close after providing services on Friday, September 25,” said, Kyle Sieg, Senior Public Relations Specialist, Ascension Florida, and Gulf Coast.
COVID-19 testing will only be available Ascension St. Vincent’s urgent care offices.
The Regency Mall and Legends Center COVID-19 walk-up testing site will remain open.
Agape Family Health and the city of Jacksonville have also partnered together to offer nasal swab testing through 2020.
