Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says it has located the vehicle involved in a deadly hit and run on Beach Boulevard near Southside, but no arrest has been made.
Public Information Officer Melissa Bujeda would not say where the vehicle was recovered, or provide any details about the driver they are seeking, citing an active investigation. She says they are asking anyone who has information to come forward.
Early Sunday morning 34-year-old Summer Black was bicycling in the right lane of Beach, heading eastbound, when she was hit from behind by a car moving in the same lane in the same direction. The suspect vehicle did not stop.
