Judge Belvin Perry told the court on Monday that his number one priority is to make sure Casey Anthony gets a fair trial.
"This news coverage of this case has been unprecedented", Perry said. "In the history of Florida, maybe even dwarfs the coverage that was given to O.J. Simpson."
He refused to reveal in advance the county pick for jury selection.
