A Yulee Target employee gets slashed while trying to stop a theft in progress at the store.
The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help identifying the man and woman caught on surveillance. We’re told they were in the Target at 463737 State Road 200 in Yulee after 6PM Monday, and tried to leave the store without paying.
A store employee confronted them as the pair was trying to leave, and the male suspect pulled a knife and cut the employee several times, according to NCSO.
The two left in a vehicle that NCSO believes to be a Chevy S10 pickup. The employee got a partial license plate, a Georgia tag ending in 089.
Both suspects appeared to have sores on their bodies, according to witnesses.
