Jacksonville, FL — Police in Jacksonville Beach have identified a 16-year-old as the suspect in Friday’s shooting at the popular skate park at South Beach Park. A felony warrant was issued for 16-year-old Lendall Wade Brooks. He is facing a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Detectives say they believe Brooks to be the only shooter.
WOKV first reported the shooting on Friday around 11:15 AM at the South Beach Park skate park. Officers said one person was shot in the arm at the park and was expected to recover.
