Jacksonville, FL — Political leaders from across Florida weighed in on Sunday's shooting of six people outside a laundromat, less than a mile from TIAA Bank Field on Sunday.
Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry said he was getting briefings from Sheriff Mike Williams, and asked for prayers for the victims fighting to live.

Florida Governor Rick Scott said he has offered any state resources that JSO may need, adding that our law enforcement officers are working hard to keep people safe.

The shooting was brought up by Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum brought up the shooting during an argument about gun control and the NRA in his first debate with Republican Ron DeSantis.
