Jacksonville, FL — Former Trump campaign aide Rick Gates pleads guilty to conspiracy and false statement charges during an appearance today at the federal courthouse in Washington.
The two charges include one count of conspiracy against the United States, and one count of making a false statement.
Gates was indicted by the Special Counsel back in October, along with former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, on charges of conspiracy and money laundering.
The plea comes one day after Mueller served the two with a new 32-count indictment.
