A 19-year-old man is facing two counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary after two people were fatally shot last week in St. Augustine, according to the State Attorney’s Office.

Anfernee Wilson has been indicted, and the State Attorney’s Office says the male, 20, and female, 16, victims were gunned down after an apparent marijuana deal went wrong. Wilson was arrested after the double shooting and both victims later died.

The State Attorney’s Office says the burglary charge is because money and a cell phone were stolen from the victim’s truck. According to the indictment, witnesses saw Wilson hunt the victims down and shoot them in the truck.
