New information in the attempted kidnapping of a teenager on Jacksonville's westside.
We've learned the identify of the suspect. He is 26-year-old Mitchell Ryan Selph.
According to a police report, an off-duty officer heard someone calling for help Sunday night in the area of Hammond Blvd and Crystal Spring Road.
The officer saw the victim being hit in the face and then the suspect grab the victim's phone. Then Selph began dragging the victim into the woods.
