Two teenagers accused of shooting a 13 month-old in front of his mother make their first appearances in court.

The younger teenager is now identified as 15 year-old Dominique Lang.  He is facing a murder charge and prosecutors plan to try him as an adult.

Both are accused of last Thursday's fatal shooting of Antonio Santiago in Brunswick.

17 year-old De'Marquise Elkins, is making his first court appearance Monday afternoon.

Brunswick Police Chief Tobe Green on Friday announced the arrest of the teens he says are responsible for the fatal shooting of the 13-month-old.

“It’s bitter because of the occurrences of yesterday.  But it’s sweet to know that we have two arrests for the persons who committed this horrendous act,” Green says.

Police say Sherry West was walking her baby in a stroller when the pair confronted her.  West claims they demanded money from her and threatened to kill her baby if she did not comply.  Her baby was shot and killed.  She was also shot and taken to the hospital with injuries, but has since gone back home.  Police have not yet confirmed that motive.
