UPDATE: Dad pulls gun on daughter for 'being lazy'

A north Tulsa dad is behind bars for pointing a gun at his daughter for 'being lazy' then shooting through a door at her, her kids and her grandmother.

Tulsa Police tell KRMG that 55-year-old Herman Dwayne Webster came home drunk.

Webster was apparently angry with his daughter for 'being lazy'.

He began throwing stuff around then grabbed a handgun and threatened to kill his daughter.

Dad and daughter struggled over the gun before the woman took her 6-year-old and 6-month-old children to a bedroom with their grandma and locked the door.

That's when, police say, Webster opened fire... shooting seven rounds through the door and the lock on the door.

Webster's daughter and her children were able to escape through a bedroom window.

The grandmother's foot was broken during the struggle. She was taken to the hospital.

Webster was booked on multiple assault and shooting with intent to kill charges.
