‘Unprecedented labor shortages’ force Clay County recycling suspension

Green Cove Springs, FL — Recycling collection services will be suspended for residential customers in unincorporated areas of Clay County and Keystone Heights starting Monday, Aug. 16.

The county said in a social media post that “unprecedented labor shortages” were to blame.

Instead, the county’s limited resources will be dedicated to collecting garbage and yard waste.

In the meantime, you may bring recyclables to a Clay County Convenience Center location. Click here for a list.
