Second suspect involved in 2015 murder of Daniel Rowe sentenced to life in prison

Daniel Rowe Murder Trial (Action News Jax)

Jacksonville, FL — It's been a long road to justice for the family of Daniel Rowe, but the second suspect involved in his murder, nearly 3 years ago, has finally learned his sentence.

After pleading guilty to second-degree murder, Erron Coleman, 27,  has been sentenced to life in prison, without the possibility of parole.

WOKV told you back in July 2015 when Rowe, a young father and cook, was fatally shot at the Blind Rabbit in Riverside, while taking out the trash, in what started as an armed robbery. That restaurant location has since closed.

A second suspect involved in Rowe's death, Devonte Hanford, has already been sentenced to just over 20 years in prison, after pleading guilty earlier this month.

Speaking to our partner Action News Jax, Rowe’s parents say they’re not sure if they got closure, but say they got justice for their son.
