Bethany Reese is no stranger to early mornings. For the last ten years, she has found herself working on a morning show. Now, she's excited to be part of the Action News Jax morning team! She joined the team in February 2025. Bethany is from a small town in Virginia called Goshen. She has worked in Nashville, Tennessee, West Virginia, and most recently Coastal Virginia. She is an Emmy-nominated journalist who has covered numerous stories, from presidential visits to the 2019 NFL Draft. The military holds a special place in Bethany's heart. While living in Norfolk, Virginia, she built a special bond with the community, telling stories and honoring service members. Her soon-to-be husband is also in the Navy. Bethany is an avid sports fan — rooting for the Minnesota Vikings and all things University of Kentucky. When she isn't at Action News Jax or out feeding her inner foodie, you'll find Bethany on the couch binge-watching Netflix and cuddling her pups, Winnie and Bruce! Bethany gives God the glory for bringing her south. She's excited to find a new community in Northeast Florida!
