On the second day of school St. Johns County deputies were on-site at Creekside High School investigating a bomb threat this morning.

The Florida Highway Patrol says a 59-year-old man from Crescent City was hit and killed by what they say is a pickup truck while crossing US Highway 17 in Putnam County.

Florida Highway Patrol reports a 33-year-old driver from Jacksonville is dead in a crash that happened around 3:53 a.m. on I-295 and Alta Drive.
